Beta 6.5 is a small patch update to CoreGUI.

The patches included in this build can be found below. While this update does include a few new features, these are not substantial enough to be considered a full fledged feature update.

  • Updates Instigator to allow diagnostic collection on slower machines
    • Introduced -SafeBoot flag
    • Introduced -SlowReinit flag
    • Displays when devbypass is detected
  • Reinit updated with a new live log and SlowReinit flag for legacy machines
  • Resolves an issue where RolesAndFeatures displays a notification box that takes too long to close
  • Updates notificationbox handling for applications
  • Introduces diagnostic logging for notificationbox
  • Introduces notespad. This will allow basic text editing of files within CoreGUI
  • Resolves an issue where AppCrash does not display the graphical red background on the dock
  • AppCrash code cleanup
  • Resolved an issue in knownissues that causes dynvar's to not load
  • Updates F1's apptyp
  • Updates F1's ServiceStarter and deprecates legacy functions no longer in use

  • Hardens modularity so that the application information cannot be modified at runtime

  • Updates CGSYSPROC with new processes to ignore for Tasklistz
  • Adds Networking Tool icons to F1
  • Adds notification for builds that are not production
  • Adds new beta mode to F1 for dock apps

Known Issues

OpenWithCGUI causes an error due to a non-existant program not existing. This will be resolved in upcoming releases
