CoreGUI Enterprise B123702-beta-6.2

Warning: This build is a BETA variant. This should not be used in production.

Build Updates

  • notificationbox has been introduced, this will allow apps to show and queue notifications
  • safeboot has been introduced. This starts CoreGUI in a minimal mode without any background services for diagnostic purposes
  • An issue was resolved that caused "CoreGUI-Priv.exe has stopped responding and was closed" from showing when quitting CoreGUI
  • Dead links in servermanager have been fixed along with the names of buttons
  • f1 and ICEngine have been updated to support safeboot
  • instigator has been introduced. This handles arguments passed to CoreGUI at startup, rather than dealing via individual startup phases of f1
  • CoreSettings has been updated so the secondary quickaccess menu lines up with the first.
  • Additional items have been added to CoreSettings
  • A bug caused by attempting to reset f1ops in CoreSettings whilst running in Multi-threaded mode has been resolved
  • CoreSettings has been fully updated to now use the new virtual registry filesystem
  • AppHelp has been updated and now links to the wiki
  • MD5-This now has an AppHelp link
  • Tasklistz now has an AppHelp link
  • An issue where notificationbox ignores f1ops has been resolved
  • An error where ICEngine fails to display AppHelp and does not show an error message has been resolved
  • The internal filesystem has been optimised
  • vboxwarning will now use the virtual registry filesystem instead of writing to the C:\CGUI folder
  • ICEngine's CheckPolciy has been deprecated. reinit should be used instead
  • A bug present in ICengine where reading config files returns invalid values has been resolved
  • The CoreSettings dock app will now update its text based on which menu you're in

Known Issues

  • On some systems when left idle for more than 12 hours, CoreGUI will crash.
  • In core versions, checkboxes are not correctly displayed
  • On some systems, dedupmenu will not start/stop deduplication jobs automatically as Powershell doesn't load the deduplication module
  • dedupmenu cannot be dragged by its window frame
  • In core versions, notificationbox does not always follow f1ops and may sit slightly above the dock
  • The Help item in CoreSettings fails to launch AppHelp
  • Battery item in CoreSettings does nothing
  • Querying drivers too many times in CoreSettings freezes CoreGUI
